Another year, another Plastic sampler for your tired ears! 2017 was a real mindfuck, if you don't mind us saying. We're at the cooler anyway, so who cares? Can we bum a cig?

As is our custom, we have plucked fourteen favorites from last year's releases, which was very painful for us because let's face it, how do you make decisions like this? All of these records are superb and if we did not think so, they wouldn't be here.

There's a good bit of feel-good melodic braindance on show here, which probably says a lot about how badly we needed to feel good last year in the first place. If those don't get the endorphins going, then perhaps some of the more 4/4 techno cuts in the middle will. No? Well, thankfully for you we have just the thing at the end of this set: A wind-down of more restrained ambient techno bleep and bloop.
