about

In addition to the release of SEAS 2, the original SEAS album from Expanding Electronic Diversity in 2009 (long since out of print) has been reissued in a standard CD-R version, containing all four tracks from the album as well as "Blue Dub", the vinyl-only b-side from the Arctic/Blue Dub 12" (also out of print). For those unfamiliar, SEAS is the third collaborative project between David Tagg and Brian Grainger, and this debut album contains the duo's special brand of dub/ambient influenced techno blended intimately over snowed-in atmospheres of winter waves, cool blue wind and crisp clean textures. Influences include Basic Channel/Rhythm & Sound, Yagya, DeepChord, Vladislav Delay, Porter Ricks and The Orb, and these recordings would also appeal to fans of Brian's work as Coppice Halifax.

This definitive reissue comes packaged in a high-gloss mini-LP style cardboard jacket with a factory pressed CD-R inside. A bundle option exists in the SEAS store for buyers interested in ordering SEAS and SEAS 2 at the same time.

All orders for SEAS will ship on (or before) September 12, 2012.
