about

2018 came and 2018 went, and then 2019 came, and the RP Corporate Offices sighed a deep and apathetic sigh...and put off the yearly Conference Call until the Winter snow receded and Springtime came bouncing back in with the sunshine. Working from home has never been more appealing.

That said, it should not pass by unnoticed that 2018 was host to many solid singles and full-length albums in the Plastix canon! From the thick minimal techno of Lamont Kohner, Algorithm T and Substak, to the hypermelodic braindance of Foamek and Milieu, and even deeper still with dub techno from Brother Blue and Orson Throb. Somewhere between all of it was unique stuff like Demi Odessa's sad bedroom techno pop tracks, Blaubac's modular synthesizer excursions, Bike's Skammy hardware improvisations and Occur's mentalist digital whorls of sound. Recycled Plastics continues its charted path of doing whatever feels good, even when it has already been done.

2019 already holds many other excellent releases from alumni such as Lamont Kohner, Parallelism, Milieu, Foamek and others...plus new and exciting work by Dusklark, other_Format, Volitune and a few more surprises we don't want to mention yet. Ramble on!
